PantryPilot ("the app", "we", "our") is a kitchen pantry and expiry-tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. We built PantryPilot to work fully offline, and this policy reflects that design.

1. No Data Collection

PantryPilot does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage analytics, or device information. The app has no servers, no user accounts, and does not require an internet connection to function.

2. Local Storage Only

All information you enter into the app — including pantry items, quantities, units, categories, expiry dates, notes, and favorites — is stored exclusively on your own device using local on-device storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never transmitted to us or any third party
• Is not accessible by us, since we have no servers or backend of any kind

3. Permissions

PantryPilot does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or any other sensitive device permission beyond what is strictly required for basic app functionality (such as local storage access).

4. Third-Party Services

PantryPilot does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with third parties because no data ever leaves your device.

5. Children's Privacy

PantryPilot does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since the app does not collect data at all. The app is suitable for general audiences.

6. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can permanently delete it at any time by:

• Clearing the app's storage/cache from your device settings, or
• Uninstalling the app

7. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes in a future update, the revised version will be posted here and made available within the app, along with an updated "Last updated" date.
